Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital was the official veterinary clinic of the 2010 World Equestrian Games held in Lexington, KY.
More than a half a million visitors from all over the world came to visit the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, KY, for the 2010 Alltech World Equestrian Games this year.
So it’s no surprise that hundreds of local and international companies set up temporary camp at the park and at the downtown International Equestrian Festival, and Equiseen was there to help.
Rood & Riddle Equine Hospital
Rood & Riddle is a world-renowned equine hospital located in Lexington, KY. As the official veterinary clinic of the 2010 WEG, Rood & Riddle had a 3,000 square foot booth in addition to an on-site veterinary clinic. The booth was designed as a learning experience for horse enthusiasts.
Equiseen created educational videos that were displayed throughout the booth on large flat-screen TVs. Additionally, Equiseen created an interactive touchscreen experience for visitors to learn about equine treadmill diagnostics. You can see examples of the videos at youtube.com/roodandriddle.
Kentucky Equine Research
Kentucky Equine Research is an international equine nutrition research and consulting company with offices based in Lexington, KY, and Melbourne, VIC, Australia. KER was tasked with providing feed and bedding to all the competitors at the 2010 WEG and maintained a booth at the IEF in downtown Lexington.
Equiseen in partnership with NetMediaOne created a new Website for KER that was officially launched during the games. Equinews.com is an educational resource for equine industry professionals to learn about horse nutrition and health and is based on the company’s long-standing print magazine Equinews.
Equiseen also created a series of educational videos about horse health and nutrition that were presented on the Website and at the company’s booth during the games.
Kentucky Horse Council
The Kentucky Horse Council is a nonprofit organization dedicated, through education and leadership, to the protection and development of the Kentucky equine community.
During WEG, the KHC greeted visitors at their booth near the Horse Park’s front gates. Equiseen compiled and formatted videos from Kentucky-based horse industry members that were featured at the KHC booth.
